*Alanna exits the bar, slamming the door by mistake. She turns to look at it in surprise before continuing down to the lake and scrambling up a tree, quickly stretching out on a sturdy limb. After a long morning of training, she has decided to take a few minutes to enjoy the warmth of the sun while she still can. The slight chill in the air makes her sigh wistfully as her thoughts turn to the desert.*

Aaaaaadam.

What's that? Who's there? Is it a ghost?
no subject
Yes, Adam. I am an apparition. Your very own trickster ghost.
*Several leaves land on top of his head as she rests her chin on the branch.*

Well enough to come back, anyway, instead of hiding in my fortress.

Good. I was getting ready to send a search party if you didn't return soon. Thom's fault, really. *Smiling, she hugs him.*
no subject
Thom's fault? I don't want to know, do I?
no subject
I told him you had something that reminded me of the Sweating Fever, and he asked if someone had cursed you. Roger sent the Sweating Fever to Corus, you see, effectively cursing Jon and his family. Several of my friends as well. It... it's a bad memory. Anyway, I got worried, and wondered if I should have made you stay with me. Strongly suggested, at least.
*Blushing, she pulls back and scuffs her shoe on the ground.*

You did what you needed to do, and I was fine.
*He steps back and turns a circle.*
See? Proud to be curse-free.
no subject
Well, that's not all really. I fear it gave Thom ideas, and now cursing you is on his to-do list, right under tormenting Delia and being the best sorcerer. I just thought you should know.
*She grins.*

Ohh, goody. What am I in for, then?
no subject
I have no idea. I distracted him with ice cream and a rather repulsive green shirt. Oh, that reminds me. I brought something back for you too.
no subject
Oh really?

*Swallowing, Alanna bends down and picks up a rock, throwing it as far out over the lake as she can.*
You are friendly with Morgan, yes?
no subject
...yes?

I thought so. A few nights ago -I think it was Thursday- she arrived with her horse and belongings. I found her outside, and tried my best not to scare her off, but I don't think she likes me much. However, she thankfully trusted me enough to let me heal her as best I could.
She was hurt, Adam. I don't know who did it. She didn't want me to see who was responsible.
no subject
Did she say anything at all?
no subject
no subject
yeah.
*He sighs.*

I think... I hope she's better now. I wasn't here this weekend, obviously, but I haven't heard anything. I just thought you should know. *She shrugs and looks up at the tree.* Want your present now?
no subject
Sure.
