Bernard,
I hope this finds you well. After a few weeks of quiet, I find I have much to report.
First and foremost, Ramon Salzar is in the cells. Max arrested him on Saturday for torturing Arithon. Svava and others healed Arithon, but he is rather traumatized, as you can imagine. The word "torture" does not adequately describe what he lived through. If you wish to know details, I will tell you, but suffice it to say that I do not think I would have survived such a trial. Please forgive me for saying this, but Ramon is lucky to be alive. Arithon is greatly loved by many here.
I did not know details about any of this until yesterday. It is a tricky situation, one Tim thinks I should reprimand Arithon for, but I do not think that would be prudent. You see, he went ahead and punished Ramon. I realize that is not the normal way of things, but I do not think I could contrive of a more appropriate punishment, and I probably would have turned to him anyway. In his words, Arithon "...gave him my geases. To be s'Ffalenn, as to the blood born. The guilt of the past, and the guilt of futures considered. He will suffer as I suffer until he has changed. His own s'Ffalenn guilt will decide when he can be trusted to be other than s'Ffalenn."
Combined with a month in the cells, I think this will do the trick.
Windows 95 is in the cells for her own good. Apparently she is suffering from a "severe computer virus." Tim posted about it. He mentioned that you allowed him a security consulting position. Is there anything I need to know about what he can and can not do?
A frenchman named Montparnesse has apparently attacked two patrons with a knife and might be insane. Barry described him as "in his late teens or early twenties, with black hair, slightly fluffy." I do not know him, but I'm keeping an eye out.
Mel had something important to do in her world, and thus she is gone for the foreseeable future. Unfortunately, it seems her insane twin brother followed her. I'm worried.
Archie has agreed to head up the trainee program, leaving Barry free to focus on the detectives and healers. I'm going to hold another meeting soon, and will keep you updated on when and where. I think that's everything. I will most likely need to be in Corus this weekend, but the others know and will be around.
