*Alanna leads Thom into her quarters and smiles. Earlier today, she cleared the table of papers, clothing and a stray shoe. The room itself is remarkably tidy for her, but she curses when she sees that she forgot to take Thom's tutu off the lion's head.*
Er... welcome. Would you like some wine?
*Crossing to the table, she hurriedly pours herself some and watches him from beneath lowered lashes.*

Weird.* No, thanks.

And . . . actually . . . no.

*Alanna frowns and looks at the kitchen, a room she quite obviously spends very little time in. Sighing, she wanders over and fixes him a glass of water.*
I filched food from the kitchen earlier.

I'm sure the rats will charge me, so no need to worry that I'm reverting to my thieving ways. *She shrugs.* I do it a lot. It's not as if I know how to work that thing.
*She points at the stove.*
Now... in all seriousness, are you alright?

*Blowing out a breath, she sits down hard and looks up at him.*
Thom... is he back for good?

You are the only one of us to see him.
*Shrugging, she downs the rest of her wine and gives the tutu a half smile.*
And you seem... I don't know. Distant. Er, more so than usual.

Oh! Oh, quite possibly. Why shouldn't it be? I seem to be making everyone angry today. It's a talent, apparently.
*Muttering, she rummages around the fridge and starts carting a great deal of food to the table as she fumes.*

I am not biting your head off so much as my own, Brother.

Go ahead and sit down.

Sorry. It's probably Raph or Faith or... someone. I'll be right back.
*Patting Thom's shoulder as she passes, Alanna trots over to the door and jerks it open. Shocked, she gapes at Adam.*

Here goes nothing.*
Hi.
no subject
*Face impassive, she stares at him.*
But you...
*Shaking her head, she looks up and down the hall before tugging his hand and all but dragging him into the room. She continues to stare at him, trying to figure out what he is doing here.*

Hello.
no subject
But I what?
*He says under his voice, before calling out to Thom.*
Hi, Thom.
no subject
After what you said... I didn't think you wanted to talk to me anymore.
*Clearing her throat, she smiles brightly at Thom before turning back to Adam.*
Well. We were just about to eat, and I procured enough food for an army, so... welcome. Want something to drink?
*She shifts nervously from foot to foot.*
no subject
S'actually- s'why I came.
*He glances again at Thom.*
Um. Water, I think.
no subject
*Blatantly curious, she drops her gaze to his hands.*
Water it is. Thom is alright, distant and quite confused as to why I am worried, or so he would have me think. There, you are all caught up. I'll be right back.
*Running a hand through her hair, she walks back to the kitchen for both water and quite possibly some rum.*
