Not being the one giving birth or having to deal with a nervous husband makes the birth process much more enjoyable. And she's taken every opportunity to remind both expectant parents and the palace healers that she had three at once.
Jon remains unamused.
"She'll be fine," Alanna reassures him yet again. They've moved into the Queen's antechamber, and Jon looks up every time the door opens. "It's not as if she's having three."
His Champion grins cheerfully.
